Our affiliate tag is bestdogcarseat-20. When you click an Amazon product link on this site and complete a purchase, Amazon may pay us a small commission. This is the primary way the site is funded.

What this means for you

• You pay nothing extra. The commission comes out of Amazon’s margin, not added to your price.
• Your Amazon experience is unchanged. Our links are standard Amazon URLs with our tracking tag appended. You shop on Amazon as normal, with Amazon’s pricing, shipping, and returns.
• You can choose not to use our links. Search any product directly on Amazon if you prefer; the rankings and information on this site are free to read either way.

Editorial independence

Our rankings are determined by live Amazon data, not by commission rates. We do not give preferential placement to brands that pay higher commissions, and we have never accepted payment from a manufacturer for inclusion or placement.

Specifically, our category rankings score products by monthly purchases × rating × log(review count). Affiliate commission is not a factor. See our about page for the full methodology.

Sponsored Amazon listings

Some Amazon products you see in our rankings may themselves be paid placements within Amazon’s search results (Amazon “Sponsored” tag). We flag these in our rankings where we can detect them, but we do not exclude them, because they are still real products that Amazon shoppers actually buy.

No third-party affiliate networks

We do not use Skimlinks, Viglink, or other auto-affiliate services that rewrite outbound links. Every affiliate link on this site is a hand-coded Amazon link with our tag.

Other revenue

At this time the site does not run display advertising, accept sponsored content, or sell its own products. If that changes, this disclosure will be updated and the change will be noted with a date.
